Are you interested in becoming a Volunteer Firefighter? Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer firefighter with the Northern Wake Fire Department. You do not have to have firefighting experience to join, just a desire to serve the community, be at least age 18, have a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver's license, and live no further than 20 road-miles from our closet fire station. In addition, the PDF form below is a download-able application form in the event you want to go ahead and get the application process started. Just open it up and fill it out and you can submit it electronically to the Membership Committee after you complete visits to the Department. We will provide instructions at that time.
